The only café on East Beach
Woodfired pizzas, fresh pasta dishes, seafood specials, with BIG, BOLD flavours.
A perfect Dorset beachfront spot to enjoy lunch, dinner & a drink.

With a relaxed and cosy feel, this is the spot to meet up with friends and family to feast on Italian food and
freshly shaken cocktails!

Dine on the patio for the touch of drama and watch the chefs prepare your wood-fired pizza fresh to order.

Wander through the bi-fold doors to the NEW heated patio, bringing the outdoors in.
Sit with a glass of wine and a fresh pasta dish whilst looking out to Golden Cap.

Or grab a table on the top deck to get the best view of the sun going down with a cocktail in hand.

Locally sourced, fresh & sustainable ingredients are the basis for creating our dishes and wherever possible
we aim to support local suppliers.
From 12 years of trading, our café has become a local and holidaymakers' favourite.
As well as our sister café 'The Hive Beach Café' which was established in 1991, and the more recently opened sister restaurant 'The Club House' at West Bexington; the Hive brand has spread along the West Dorset coastline providing the highest quality seafood menu.

NOTPLA

Our takeaway packaging is supplied to us by a startup company called NOTPLA. The takeaway boxes are made of seaweed so are fully biodegradable. Notpla were also a finalist and winner of the Earth Shot prize 2022. Which is a ‘Nobel-like prize for the environment’, led by Prince William. We are so happy and excited for them and their future and so proud to be a part of their journey.
Along with Notpla we were excited to have the surrounding town’s local mayors, Martin Clunes, local businesses’ and we received a letter from Sir David Attenborough wishing us luck and his support with our goal. Our aim is to make the Jurassic Coast more plastic free, so we therefore hosted a ‘night with NOTPLA’ at The Watch House in March.
